So here’s the part where I prove I’m a human… 

Hi, my name is Rachel Piper aka ADMIN ALLY. I’m in my mid-30s, I live in Eastbourne, East Sussex with my two cats, and have been working for myself since mid-2018. 

I understand first-hand how difficult it is to maintain a healthy work/life balance when running a small business; there is always so much to do with so little time to do it in that these responsibilities begin to spill into your personal life, ultimately affecting your health and happiness. That’s where I was a few years ago, working up to 80+ hours a week for very little return, miserable as sin and the business wasn’t even mine! 

After some much needed downtime, I paved a new career for myself on my own terms, taking the skills and experience I have obtained over the years to help others in a similar position to where I once was reach their business goals by reducing their workload and increasing their productivity.

For me, work is not about the money, it never has been – I love to help people, to put my heart and soul into a project and see how my input has made a difference – both to the business and the individual behind it, there’s no buzz like it!

In the last 20 years, I have worked in a variety of sectors, from childcare to entertainment, leisure to information technology, communications and web, hospitality, finance and mental health. I have a wealth of knowledge in these industries as a result, teamed with a bunch of transferable admin and customer-related skills which are applicable to so many more across the board!
